The Quail is Briar Patch Inn's most intimate offering, a small cottage that wraps around you like a well-worn flannel shirt. Set beneath mature trees with a private patio that catches the scent of honeysuckle in the autumn air, this is a cabin that earns its name. Quail don't announce themselves. They settle quietly into their surroundings. So will you. A queen bed, a wood-burning fireplace, a small sitting area with a chaise, and a private patio. That is the Quail. Nothing extraneous. Everything intentional. For a guest who values privacy over square footage and stillness over spectacle, it is the clear choice. The fireplace will be your constant companion across twelve November evenings. After a day of Lunch and Learn sessions, one-on-one consultations with your nutritionist, and an evening walk along the creek, returning to a warm cabin with a crackling fire is not a small thing. It is a large part of why this retreat works. Primal Restart is built on the belief that healing requires the right conditions. Clean food. Clinical support. Consistent rest. The Quail provides the last of these without apology. You will not find a television or a schedule of resort activities here. You will find quiet. And for many guests, quiet turns out to be exactly what they needed most. Note: Available as a couples cabin for two guests sharing a king bed. Each person registers independently and pays the per-person couples rate.

Policy
Primal Restart offers 12-day, medically supervised carnivore wellness retreats at luxury destinations across the United States. Because each retreat involves significant planning, expert staffing, and limited enrollment, the following policies exist to protect both guests and the integrity of the program. REGISTRATION & PAYMENT A deposit is required at registration to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due 45 days before the retreat start date. A payment plan is available; details provided at registration. MEDICAL CLEARANCE All guests must complete bloodwork no later than two weeks before the retreat. If the physician determines attendance poses a health risk, the guest will not be permitted to attend and their deposit will be refunded in full. All guests must be 18 or older. CANCELLATION Once the final balance is paid, payments are non-refundable but transferable to another person, subject to medical clearance. Travel insurance is strongly recommended. MINIMUM ENROLLMENT Each retreat requires a minimum of 10 registered guests. If not met, guests are notified 45 days before the retreat start date and credits are issued following notification. WHAT IS INCLUDED • 11 nights private cabin lodging • All chef-prepared carnivore meals and beverages • Lab work, DEXA scans, continuous glucose monitoring • Daily physician check-ins and medical oversight • Nutrition consultations and therapy sessions • Lunch & Learn programming, guided grocery trip, restaurant outing • Personalized post-retreat sustainment plan and ongoing support Not included: spa services and transportation. TRANSPORTATION Guests arrange their own travel. Venue-specific airport and ground transport recommendations are provided after registration. COMPANIONS Companions may attend for an additional fee covering room and board. All meals are strictly animal-based with no alternatives. Retreat programming is reserved for registered guests only. ALCOHOL Alcohol is not served or permitted. It works directly against the healing process. MEDICATIONS Most guests on prescription medications may attend. Any adjustments are made under direct physician supervision. Guests must never self-adjust medications. MEDICAL SUPERVISION A licensed physician is on your team from start to finish, reviewing bloodwork pre-retreat and monitoring vitals and metabolic markers throughout.
